Our Nome Bourgogne stone effect porcelain contains lots of different tile sizes based on a classic and well-known real limestone: the stunning Bourgogne limestone from France. This has wonderful, almost sandstone type movement which has been faithfully replicated here. Nome Bourgogne is the perfect addition to any space but is especially popular for bathrooms & hallways creating warm welcoming rooms with its sandy colour and gentle caramel striations. Bourgogne has strength and practicality and an elegant appeal perfect for any design project. With abundant authentic stone characteristics this is a porcelain tile of depth and intrigue.
We operate a minimum order quantity of 5 boxes on this product.
We also offer a lovely 5cm x 5cm square mosaic in the Nome Bourgogne. PLEASE NOTE: Mosaics are sold PER SHEET so the price above (£23.39inc VAT) is for one 30cm x 30cm sheet. Just enter the total number of mosaic sheets you require into the white box labelled SQM (next to the 'Prices include VAT' box) to add correctly to your shopping cart.

| Mosaic | Unlike tiles Mosaics are sold per sheet. Bourgogne Porcelain Mosaic is supplied on a mesh-backed sheet measuring 30cm x 30cm which can be cut using a stanley knife. Each sheet is made up of 36number 5cm squares, 6squares high by 6squares wide. This is rectified porcelain suitable for use on walls and floors. Due to mosaic production methods, slight shade and dimensional variation is to be expected within the mosaic sheet. |

| Installation Points | Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout. For large tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond. |
| Mosaic Installation | Mosaics can be a challenge to install. The mesh backing makes it hard to get even pressure when pressing into adhesive so you end up with an uneven surface and, when used against normal tiles, lipping can occur for this reason too. We recommend the use of Mosaic Mesh Tile Backer Sheets which makes mosaic installation MUCH easier. These are available from most DIY sheds. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products, no different to what you would see in real stone or timber. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. As per laying real stone/timber a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
