Ashton Grey limestone is a very dense, strong, durable and
yet truly beautiful natural limestone flag. With very gently softened edges and
a fabulous colour palette of very dark blue-grey with hints of green and purple,
this is a floor that looks as if it has been down and walked on for around 200 years
or more! This amazing aged, patina look is painstakingly created by hand-honing
each flag, a much more sensitive, artisanal finish than machine finishing. Each
flag is then ‘oiled’ producing a gorgeous lustre that would take centuries of
slipper wear to achieve normally! Let these weathered dark grey limestone floor
tiles bring an element of character to your interior. Aged by hand, each
flagstone has a gently textured surface reminiscent of a centuries old floor.
This durable flooring is hardy enough to withstand the heaviest of foot traffic
in your home. Lay them on the floor of a rustic kitchen – or as a stunning
backdrop to an elegant bathroom. These dark floor tiles make a timeless
finishing touch.
