This fabulous Black External Limestone flag is a gorgeous hand-finished flagstone with an aged face and hand-cut edges. This stone is characterfully textured and makes a wonderful foundation for your outside entertaining or living space. Black Flagstone is available in a 60cm x 3 mixed length pattern which suits any size and shape of scheme. Its colour and aged look also suits a plethora of building types. If you are working with an older property of cotswold stone, red-brick or painted render then this mixed size pattern is just the ticket. Of course it would compliment timber houses too including oak frames and would look marvellous against a distinctive tudor property! This isn't just for older properties though - the 3mixed length pattern is a contemporary take on the traditional free lengths and will suit modern new builds too. The biggest flag in the pattern is 90cm x 60cm and as you get an equal number of each of the 3 sizes, this large 90x60 flag visually packs a punch heightened by the narrower flags in the design. Black Flagstone is perfect for creating a time-worn look and is immensely hard-wearing so is a great choice for all hard-working, high-traffic external areas.

Design Tip: If you want to accentuate the pattern and make this external floor the star of your landscaping scheme then point with a buff coloured mix or jointing compound. If, on the other hand, you want the floor to take on a mellower, more background role, then pair with a darker grey colour.

NB: this flagstone has hand-cut edges so the tiles are not machine calibrated and therefore joints will not be consistent. You cannot use tile spacers, joint width will be fluid resulting in narrower joints, medium joints and wider joints - just like the old days. FULL CRATES will also have 12x 30cm x 30cm tiles inside - this is not part of the pattern and is not included in the sqm calculation - these packing stones can be discarded or used elsewhere with our compliments (equates to 1sqm of stone).

Also available are our Black external finish treads (steps). 100cm long x 35cm deep x 5cm thick with the front edge finished with a bullnose profile. Priced per piece at £45each +VAT and delivery. PLEASE NOTE: STEP TREADS are sold PER STEP so the price above (£45.00+VAT) is for one 100cm x 35cm tread and NOT per sqm. Just enter the total number of steps you require into the white box labelled SQM (next to the 'Prices include VAT' box) to add correctly to your shopping cart.

Postal samples ARE NOT available for our 5cm thick step treads.
