Castile limestone bursts with the golden sandy tones as seen in the famous Box Hill Bath Stone, with hues ranging from sandy beige, pale cream and golden orange. This limestone also contains an abundance of microscale fossils & quartz deposits, elevating the surface of the stone, creating a fabulous textural aesthetic. Castile courtyard cobbles offer a traditional English vernacular without the expense and relative softness of an English stone.
This gorgeous stone, always in our top 5 best-sellers, is now offered in a fantastic courtyard cobble (more options arriving soon!). These courtyard cobbles are 30mm thick (3cm) by 15cm wide and in mixed lengths of 15, 20 & 25cm finished with a gently aged edge and textured surface. Whilst we will also offer the traditional one size square cobbles in the near future, this more contemporary mixed length option certainly is much in demand.
Pair with our outdoor limestone flags in either its soft tumbled or heavy tumbled version to complete your landscaping project.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut samples are not available for this product, you do have the option of purchasing a full cobble sample, charged at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Castile Outdoor Cobbles.

| Courtyard Cobbles | Our Castile courtyard cobbles are 15cm wide by mixed lengths (15, 20 & 25cm) and are 3cm thick (150mm x 150,200,250mm x 30mm). We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the cobbles to the mortar bed. |

| Installation Points | Cobbles & Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. |
