Our new Black Limestone cobblestone is a handsome charcoal coloured cobble packed with rusticity formed by its textured & aged surface and hand-finished edges. The garden cobbles are super tough, hardwearing and exhibit a perky texture & nature that can shape your whole outdoor scheme – a fabulous base to work from for sure.The 15cm wide by mixed length cobble option is a popular choice for pathways, terraces, sunken garden haven spaces and the like. Black, of course, pairs effortlessly with bold jewel tones one would expect to see in abundance in many a garden, emerald greens and ruby reds for example and clear brights like the wonderful cobalt blue Agapanthus or the Himalayan Blue Poppy if you are particularly green-fingered!
Black is a great neutral colour that will coordinate with almost anything so whether you have developed an old agricultural building, saved a former water mill from extinction or have introduced a modern metal panelled or glazed addition to your house, Black Limestone cobbles, in this 15cm wide mixed length pattern is an ideal choice. | Installation Points | Cobbles & Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade tile adhesive can be used. We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the cobbles to the mortar bed. |
