Castile courtyard cobbles are cut from the same limestone as our much in-demand Castile flagstones. Gently aged on the surface and edges of each block, this Courtyard finish forms a timeless, enduring aesthetic. Being made of dense stone, this outside cobblestone is super-durable, commanding & charismatic. Radiating warm honey & sandy tones this limestone is jampacked with a profusion of quartz & fossil content, darkening its face producing a stone of real depth & character. Castile courtyard cobbles offer a classic English look without the price tag and a harder-wearing stone to boot. A win-win solution if there ever was one.

These 4inch square Castile courtyard cobbles are packed with timeless English limestone colours incorporating honey & orange tones oft seen in Box Hill limestone, through to paler creamier Bath stone & Cotswold stone colours. The 10cm x 10cm size is ideal when your design requires a striking yet compositionally symmetrical element. This one size cobble forms a strong base to your landscape design, bringing solidity & a timeless cobbled beauty.

Castile is a fabulous limestone, a best-seller in all its iterations, so it was an easy decision to add this historic, yet timeless four-inch courtyard finished cobble to our outside stone collection. Gently aged on the edges and face of the stone, mirroring the finish applied to the soft tumbled outdoor flagstone, this 10cm x 10cm cobble-sett is 30mm thick and will work perfectly with its flagstone brethren or look fantastic if used by itself to cobble a terrace or patio area.

Works With: Castile Outdoor limestone flag & Mixed Seam Outdoor limestone flag in either their soft tumbled or heavy tumbled guise to complete your landscaping project.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut samples are not available for this product, you do have the option of purchasing a full cobble sample, charged at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Castile Outdoor Cobbles.

Courtyard Cobbles	Courtyard cobbles come in 10cm x 10cm, 15cm x 15cm and 10cm or 15cm wide by mixed lengths and are all 3cm thick.
Technical
Suitability	Outdoors paving, patios and pathways
Installation Points	Cobbles & Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the cobbles to the mortar bed.
