Why natural stone is becoming the flooring of choice as interior designers and home owners rediscover the inherent beauty and durability of natural materials.

We have a passion for design at Beswick Stone and you can experience our love of this by simply visiting our stunning stone tile showrooms in Cirencester, Gloucestershire. We engage with the latest design trends both architecturally & decoratively through constant research, discussion with our many designer clients and investing in visiting shows worldwide including the famous Verona stone show which we visit every year.

With natural stone flooring big is better

With the penchant for large open plan living spaces still de rigeur, large format limestone tiles & flagstones are the definite must have in the field of natural stone flooring. We are constantly searching and adding beautiful new limestone tiles in the largest formats possible and the majority of our flagstone flooring is available in wide formats up to 90cm in length. We even go up to a metre long in our stunning Cotswold Stone style flags such as Avignon & Castile tumbled flagstones.

Aged is the look of choice for natural stone flooring

We have seen a move away from clean cut, smooth natural stone floors in recent times with beautiful travertine tiles now reserved mostly for bathrooms. They say character comes with age and this is certainly the case with limestone flooring. Aged, distressed, antiqued limestone finishes are hugely in demand and we have every conceivable finish available. From gently aged, soft tumbled limestone floor tiles epitomised by our wonderful Regent & Dijon flagstones to more heavily antiqued flagstone paving such as our fabulous Jaipur limestone and our cool grey Hand Aged Flagstone.

Grey natural stone flooring finds favour with buyers

Grey is certainly THE colour within interior design and we field many enquiries for grey limestone tiles. Mother Nature is fickle however with grey limestone deposits being rare. That said we are constantly searching for what the market demands and recent additions include the sumptuous dark grey limestone floor called Ashton Grey Flagstone and the paler greys as seen in our popular Keynes Mix aged limestone floor.

Many of our natural Limestone, Cotswold and travertine floor tiles and flagstones, including our new engineered Oak wood flooring collections, can be viewed in our stunning new showroom in Cirencester where our knowledgable and friendly staff will answer your questions and help you to choose the right natural floor for your home.  Alternativley you can view our natural stone and Oak flooring products and orders samples on our website.  Please do contact us if you have any questions or would like to know if the product you are interested in is on display at our showroom.
