Scape Sabbia stoneware porcelain is a simple & tasteful contemporary stone effect porcelain , featuring a beautiful pale sand colour with tone-on-tone shade variation and subtle movement. Based on the understated beauty of the warm coloured limestones that so many beautiful Italian villages and cathedrals are built of, this is what forms the basis of this strongly contemporary porcelain tile. This is a classic material brought right up to date in a strong, stain-proof porcelain tile perfect for demanding traffic in every area of the home. This is a beautiful yet simple tile using the very latest finishing technology which ensures an incredibly soft surface “feel”, for a level of beauty and tactile appeal never previously achieved. Our Scape Sabbia contemporary stone effect porcelain range is available in 4 different tile sizes so there will certainly be a tile size to suit your project. Tile formats available - standard R10 10mm thick internal formats:
- 60cm x 30cm: Classic medium sized rectangular wall & floor tile. Especially popular bathroom format. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 5boxes (5.4sqm) - USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.
- 80cm x 40cm: Modern rectangular sized wall & floor tile. Popular in larger bathrooms and other floor spaces. MOQ: 6boxes (5.76sqm) - USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.
- 120cm x 60cm: Fabulous large rectangular sized wall & floor tile. Hugely popular as a floor tile for large, open plan spaces. MOQ: 5boxes (7.2sqm) - USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.
- 80cm x 80cm: Gorgeous large square wall & floor tile. Large square tiles are becoming increasing popular. Currently this special size is a pre-order item with an approximate lead time of 5-6 weeks from order. | Installation Points | Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout. For large rectangular tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. A good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
