Our internal Chateau Porcelain is extremely popular and many of our customers choose to create that seemless transition from indoors to outsdoors with this dedicated 20mm thick external version. Available in all the 3 colours held in the internal format - Cenere, Sabbia & Talco - our Chateau Porcelain is known for its flair and originality. Based on historic French limestone, Chateau external porcelain delights with chromatic variation, texture & movement creating an external porcelain tile full of style. Chateau Cenere (main image) is a stunning mix of greys, blue-greys and pale charcoal tones. Chateau Sabbia brings together bronze and deep golden tones for an elegant look, Finally, Chateau Talco provides a neutral palette of ivory & bone combined with hints of warm creams. This external version is finished with an irregular edge giving just the right amount of contrast to the pillow-edge internal version when used together.
We operate a minimum order quantity of 48boxes (26.256sqm) on the pre-order colour of Talco and 20boxes (10.944sqm) on the Cenere & Sabbia - from stock. For popular grout colours and further information on this flagstone look external porcelain please refer to the specification tab.

| External Installation Points | External formats are 20mm thick so can be installed on a standard MOT type 1 base, onto a prepared concrete/screed base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self levelling pedestals. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR & SBR mixed with powdered to cement to form a bonding slurry used to prime the backs of the impervious tiles to provide a key for bonding. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used. Tiles can either be grouted with a wide joint grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FL grout), or finished with a brush-in resin compound or alternative jointing method. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products, no different to what you would see in real stone or timber. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. As per laying real stone/timber a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
