Fossil Ivory is a magnificent stoneware porcelain tile based on the famous Jerusalem limestone from Israel. Desired for their intrinsic beauty, amazing fossil details and adaptable colour range, Jerusalem stones range from pale bone, through warm beige/gold and cool grey. Fossil Ivory is based on the pale bone coloured Jerusalem stone deposit and is faithfully reproduced in this stunning porcelain replica with the added bonus of porcelain being stain resistant and waterproof. Finished with a truly authentic aged edge, Fossil Ivory exhibits all the natural fossils and veining seen in the real stone giving this beautiful tile delightful movement and natural allure. With the changing needs of outdoor living this 2cm thick exterior porcelain stoneware tile, with its enhanced technical and aesthetic performance, increases your design possibilities. From a separate outdoor entertaining area or living space or when combined with its internal counterpart to create that connection from indoors to out, this stunning Italian made porcelain tile could well be the flooring you’ve been aching for. Currently the outdoor 2cm format of Fossil Ivory porcelain is a special-order item with a lead time of approximately 5-6 weeks* from order. We operate a minimum order quantity of 48 boxes (26.256sqm) on this pre-order outdoor tile. Price is £59sqm+VAT & delivery.

- Standard R10 10mm thick internal format: Our beautiful internal tile for use in both residential and commercial interiors, finished with a subtle worn aged edge. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 5boxes (8.205sqm) – USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.

- Dedicated R11 20mm thick external format: The dedicated 20mm external tile format in Fossil Ivory is available in the same 90.6cm x 60.4cm tile size. Being a dedicated outdoor tile, this can be installed onto standard patio base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self-levelling pedestals. MOQ is 48boxes (26.256sqm) - THIS IS A PRE-ORDER ITEM.

Technical
Grade Internal Format	Wall & Floor R10 - Residential interior walls & floors | Commercial interior walls & floors
Installation Points	Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout. For large tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond.
Grade 20mm External Format	Outdoor / Rectified - R11 - Residential & Commercial.
External Installation Points	External formats are 20mm thick so can be installed on a standard MOT type 1 base, onto a prepared concrete/screed base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self-levelling pedestals. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR & SBR mixed with powdered to cement to form a bonding slurry used to prime the backs of the impervious tiles to provide a key for bonding. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used. Tiles can either be grouted with a wide joint grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FL grout), or finished with a brush-in resin compound or alternative jointing method.
Blending	Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products, no different to what you would see in real stone or timber. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. As per laying real stone/timber a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended.
