Each stone is aged and additional antiquing processes are often employed ensuring a choice of looks all with intrinsic limestone characteristics such as fossils, veining and mineral highlights. Developed to work beautifully with both traditional & contemporary gardens, these slimline, aged stone block setts can be used to create a variety of patterns each with its own unique appeal. Attractive options include herringbone & double herringbone, as well as geometric patterns such as mosaic; sometimes known as standard block. 

Herringbone: blocks are laid in a staggered, diagonal "V" pattern, creating a visual direction that draws the eye. Popular for its classic, elegant look and the way it can make a space feel larger. Single herringbone (blocks alternating directions) and double herringbone (two blocks in a pair alternating directions) are classic variations.

Mosaic or Standard Block: blocks are laid in a woven pattern, typically with sets of blocks laid perpendicular to each other. Creates a symmetrical and dynamic look. This pattern is possible when the block has a width divisible by the length e.g 20cm x 5cm, 30cm x 7.5cm.
