Also available in a 2cm (20mm) dedicated external porcelain tile in the same 90cm x 60cm size. With the changing needs of outdoor living this 2cm thick exterior porcelain stoneware tile, with its enhanced technical and aesthetic performance, increases your design possibilities. From a separate outdoor entertaining area or living space or when combined with its internal counterpart to create that connection from indoors to out, this stunning Italian made porcelain tile could well be the flooring you’ve been aching for. We operate a minimum order quantity of 20 boxes (10.8sqm) on this outdoor porcelain tile.
Tile formats available:
- Standard R10 10mm thick internal format: an internal tile for use in both residential and commercial interiors, finished with an aged, worn edge. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 10boxes (10.8sqm)
- Dedicated R11 20mm thick external format: being a dedicated outdoor tile, this can be installed onto standard patio base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self-levelling pedestals. MOQ is 20boxes (10.8sqm)

| Indoor Installation Points | Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FS grout*). For large tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond. *If wider joints you may want to use a course grain grout such as Ardex FL which is what we have used in our showroom display. |
| External Installation Points | External formats are 20mm thick so can be installed on a standard MOT type 1 base, onto a prepared concrete/screed base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self-levelling pedestals. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR & SBR mixed with powdered to cement to form a bonding slurry used to prime the backs of the impervious tiles to provide a key for bonding. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used. Tiles can either be grouted with a wide joint grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FL grout), or finished with a brush-in resin compound or alternative jointing method. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products, no different to what you would see in real stone. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. As per laying real stone/timber a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
