An unmistakably stylish limestone, Leopold comes with an ancient hand-cut & hand-aged edge and a soft ‘velvet’ brushed surface producing a flagstone floor of superb panache that is full of personality. Available in the most popular flagstone pattern of 60cm wide flags by mixed lengths, Leopold is a big stone, perfectly suited to large open plan family living spaces where the true majesty of this limestone flooring can be enjoyed.Leopold has a very attractive colour palette encompassing muted tones of grey, olive-green and fawn beige. The special ‘velveting’ technique applied to this stone is responsible for these softened chromas and creates varied textures on the face of the flag, resulting in occasional smooth spots which can catch and reflect the light elevating this stones beauty even further. Leopold flagstone exudes warmth and comfort, perfect for many rooms of the house but particularly suited to kitchens, dining rooms and living areas.
This is a stone full of sophistication suiting both classic and contemporary schemes alike. Leopold is also suitable for outdoor use, so if you would love that unbroken indoor to outdoor flow, Leopold must surely be a contender. Leopold is also available as a Cabochon octagonal patterned floor by special order. | External Installation Points | This 22mm thick flag can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used. |
