A truly remarkable replica of aged flagstone, Suzon Oro Aged porcelain is an authentic French limestone coloured porcelain stoneware tile exhibiting all the natural stone characteristics associated with the original stone. From wonderful tonal variations, sweeping movement and subtle deposits this is a handsome looking floor topped off with fantastic surface texture and aged edge. Suzon Aged porcelain is available in a beautiful neutral stone colour in big 90cm x 60cm tiles enabling you to create that stunning, large flagstone look floor. Oro is a pale floor tile, with a wonderful golden sandy tone lending a lightness and warmth to the tile.
A fabulous texture adorns the face of each tile and, coupled with the amazing aged edge, creates a true replica of a beautiful flagstone floor. With subtle chromatic variations & movement across the tiles, this durable, stain-proof Italian porcelain floor tile will create great interiors spaces and easily sits in modern, contemporary design as well as more classic schemes. Suzon Oro Aged porcelain is also offered in a dedicated 20mm thick external format so you can create that inside to outside flow so desirable now. | Indoor Installation Points | Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FS grout). For large tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond. |
| External Installation Points | External formats are 20mm thick so can be installed on a standard MOT type 1 base, onto a prepared concrete/screed base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self-levelling pedestals. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR & SBR mixed with powdered to cement to form a bonding slurry used to prime the backs of the impervious tiles to provide a key for bonding. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used. Tiles can either be grouted with a wide joint grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FL grout), or finished with a brush-in resin compound or alternative jointing method. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products, no different to what you would see in real stone or timber. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. As per laying real stone/timber a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
