Splitting stone is an ancient cutting technique and the 2faces that are produced from the split are often quite rustic in appearance – hence the nomenclature ‘splitface’. Our Hebron Cream outdoor splitface finished cobbles have evolved from this method; the quarry first hand-splits the limestone and then refines and accentuates the rugged nature by chiselling and hand-aging. The result is an enhanced splitface aesthetic, offering extended scope for adventurous garden design.

Each cobble in this 10cm, 12cm or 15cm wide splitface stone sett is hand-aged and hand-chiselled, creating a beautifully rugged & rutted surface to the limestone what will add so much to your garden scheme. Hebron is an enchanting light lemony-cream limestone - imagine vanilla ice-cream with drizzles of lemon coulis and you get the picture. This particular stone has a large fossil & shell content, all minutely sized, pervading the stone with a distinct look & charm. These 3cm or 4.2cm (30mm or 42mm) thick rustic cobbles, conceived for characterful outside spaces, will look fabulous when used as meandering garden paths or wherever an injection of the timeless is needed.

This handsomely rugged cobblestone can easily be the main focal point in your garden design or can play a supporting role when used along with other Hebron outdoor stones as part of your landscape design.

Design tip: Incorporating both the 10cm wide & 15cm wide options into an alternating row pattern can elevate the design, bringing attention to the width and mixed lengths of the cobblestone whilst highlighting its rustic appearance.

PRICES ARE PER SQM EXCLUDING DELIVERY. We operate a minimum order quantity of 10sqm on the 3cm cobble and 7sqm on the 4.2cm thick cobbles.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut samples are not available for this product, you do have the option of purchasing a full cobble sample, charged at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Hebron Cream Outdoor Cobbles. 

Also available are our Hebron Cream external finish step treads & coping stones. Steps are 115cm long x 35cm deep x 5cm thick with the front edge finished with a bullnose profile whilst coping stones are 100cm x 35cm x 4cm finished with a bullnose profile on both long sides and drip grooves on the underside.
