Montford Blend is handsome stoneware porcelain full of authentic French limestone variation and movement. Beautiful large format stone effect porcelain tiles with a timeless tumbled edge, Montford Blend comprises delightfully varied classic limestone tones, making it an eminently flexible floor and wall surface on to which to project colour and texture. This Italian made porcelain is rich in variation and fluidity of authentic limestone colours and movement. It holds elegant and timeless stone shades including rich beige & taupe tones of subtle variation, injections of the classic ivory limestones which show an intrinsic beauty, featuring an enticing blend of bone & soft cream shades. Bringing gravitas to any project that has ample natural light, Montford Blend stone effect porcelain gives an aged limestone look that will complement properties of differing styles and periods – from rustic cottages to modern city domiciles – rooms that benefit from natural light will best showcase Montford’s varied palette and fine details. In darker rooms, clever use of decorative mirrors will help reflect the undulating shades.

We operate a minimum order of 5 boxes (8.1sqm) on our Montford Blend stone look porcelain. These are high grade, Italian porcelain tiles, immensely durable and stain-proof.

Tile formats available:

- Standard R10 10mm thick internal format: An indoor floor tile for use in both residential and commercial interiors, finished with a subtle worn aged edge. Minimum order quantity (MOQ): 5boxes (8.1sqm) – USUALLY AVAILABLE FROM STOCK.

- Dedicated R11 20mm thick external format: The dedicated 20mm external tile format in Montford is available with an irregular aged edge. Being a dedicated outdoor tile, this can be installed onto standard patio base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self-levelling pedestals. MOQ is 24.3sqm – SPECIAL PRE-ORDER ITEM.

LARGE SIZE SAMPLE INFORMATION: A single 30cm x 30cm sample is available to purchase at £5inc P&P. Please confirm if you would like the indoor or outdoor version in your instructions at checkout. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Montford Blend Porcelain.

Grade Internal Format	Floor R10 - Residential interior floors | Commercial interior floors
Grade 20mm External Format	Outdoor / Rectified - R11 - Residential & Commercial.
Indoor Installation Points	Large format porcelain tiles should be installed with a good quality S1 grade flexible adhesive and a fine grain grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FS grout). For large tiles it is strongly recommended that levelling clips are used and joints should be staggered by a maximum of 30% of the length of the tile AKA staggered brick bond.
External Installation Points	External formats are 20mm thick so can be installed on a standard MOT type 1 base, onto a prepared concrete/screed base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self-levelling pedestals. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR & SBR mixed with powdered to cement to form a bonding slurry used to prime the backs of the impervious tiles to provide a key for bonding. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used. Tiles can either be grouted with a wide joint grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FL grout), or finished with a brush-in resin compound or alternative jointing method.
Blending	Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products, no different to what you would see in real stone or timber. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. As per laying real stone/timber a good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended.
