Zone external porcelain is a fusion of cement finish floors & natural stone producing a wonderful contemporary stone effect porcelain. At 20mm thick, this dedicated external Italian made porcelain is available in the uber modern large square size of 90cm x 90cm - this full compliments the internal 90cm x 90cm available in the indoor Zone porcelain range. Alternatively the external 90cm x 90cm can be paired with the 120cm x 60cm internal tile to create that smooth aesthetic flow from indoors to out but with the added visual interest of a format change. Zone Grey exudes industrial chic & charm, a pale blue-grey colour, the subtle motted surface adds an almost limestone characteristic to this slab. Zone Zinc is a fabulous dark grey tile and would look magnificent against red-brick.
We operate a minimum order quantity of 30boxes (24.3sqm) on this contemporary stone look exterior porcelain tile. For popular grout colours and further information on this cement / stone effect external porcelain please refer to the specification tab.

| External Installation Points | External formats are 20mm thick so can be installed on a standard MOT type 1 base, onto a prepared concrete/screed base or via a dry raised/floating installation using fixed or self levelling pedestals. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR & SBR mixed with powdered to cement to form a bonding slurry used to prime the backs of the impervious tiles to provide a key for bonding. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used. Tiles can either be grouted with a wide joint grout (we offer Rocatex Ultimate & Ardex FL grout), or finished with a brush-in resin compound or alternative jointing method. |
| Blending | Shade and colour variation should be expected in our ‘natural’ look porcelain products. Stronger tone & colour variation can occur between batches, so it is recommended you ensure you order enough for your project in one batch. A good number of packs should be opened at a time and blended. |
