Raj Beige Stone Step

Our most in demand flagstone for external use comes with this matching stone step tread. At 5cm (50mm) thick, these fabulous limestone steps are appropriate for both internal and external projects. Each step is 100cm (1000mm) wide & 35cm (350mm) deep. The front edge is finished with a hand-honed bullnose profile whilst the sides and rear are sawn. These Raj Beige stone steps are the perfect solution for split level projects where you are using our Raj Beige flag either indoors or outdoors. They also make great coping stones for garden walls and have been used as such by many landscaping clients. Each step is finished with a high-grip surface so will be slightly more textured to the touch than the matching flagstone but visually identical in chromatic detail. The stone step compliments the indoor/outdoor Raj Beige flagstone perfectly. Link to this product is at the bottom of the page.
*Our Raj Beige stone step tread can also work with our Jaipur flagstone. Geologically the same stone, the flags undergo different finishing processes but obviously the high grip finished stone step would look exactly the same!

| Step Tread | Unlike flagstones, Step Treads are sold per piece. Raj Beige step tread is 100cm long with one length finished in a bullnose (rounded) edge, the step is 35cm deep (front to back) and 5cm thick. Our step treads can be used internally and externally and are often used as coping stones too. |

| Installation Points | This is a 50mm thick stone step so can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. |
