Provence outside limestones are available in a gently aged or more heavily aged flag and have enchanted our customers since their arrival a few years ago. When it came to expanding our outside stone offerings, the inclusion of this beautiful stone was a simple decision. Giving you or your landscape designer versatility in garden design. our Provence stableyard cobbles are a great choice for garden make-overs that requires a touch of the classic but with a stone that is not overly rugged or rustic.
This lovely light-coloured stone evokes sunny evenings in the Mediterranean filled with the sound of laughter & the clinking of glasses. Indeed, our stableyard finished Provence cobble, with its modern interpretation of classic cobblestone, could make the ideal outdoor entertaining or dining space floor.
Provence Stableyard finished cobbles are ‘split’ cut or cleaved, which results in a subtle meandering or wavy aged edge to each block. Coupled with the lightly textured face, these uber attractive cobbles coordinate with both our soft & heavy tumbled Provence outdoor flagstones. Available in 3 designs, all 4cm thick, this cobblestone can create stunning design accents or fabulous garden spaces when used as the sole stone.
This limestone is characterized by its attractive pale tones containing hues of flax, pale straw, wheat & off-ivory. This stone is also infused with an abundance of shell, fossil & other deposits.
Works with: Provence Outdoor limestone in either its soft tumbled or heavy tumbled flag to complete your landscaping project.

PRICES ARE PER SQM EXCLUDING DELIVERY. We operate a minimum order quantity of 8sqm on 4cm thick cobbles.
PLEASE NOTE: Cut samples are not available for this product, you do have the option of purchasing a full cobble sample, charged at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Provence Outdoor Cobbles.
Also available are our Provence external finish step treads & coping stones. Steps are 115cm long x 35cm deep x 5cm thick with the front edge finished with a bullnose profile whilst coping stones are 100cm x 35cm x 4cm finished with a bullnose profile on both long sides and drip grooves on the underside. | Installation Points | Cobbles & Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the cobbles to the mortar bed. |
