A gorgeous pale limestone that echoes the warm, light limestones used around the Mediterranean, Provence Stableyard Herringbone is a modern twist on timeless stone-setts.Provence outdoor flagstone, in both its soft tumbled & heavy tumbled finishes, have captivated our clients since being added to our external stone range. To push the potential design envelope further and to give landscape and garden designers an even wider design resource, we’ve added our simply fabulous modern slim-setts and timeless cobblestone. Our Provence Stableyard Herringbone is perfectly sized for either single or double herringbone patterns, producing a lively & effective stylised design.
Provence Stableyard Herringbone is finished with a subtle ‘split-stone’ or wavy edge and a lightly aged face. Complementing both our Provence outdoor flagstones, these 30cm x 8cm herringbone blocks, available in 4cm thick, make great design accents or beautiful spaces in their own right.
Provence limestone is an attractive pale coloured stone holding tones of off-ivory, soft cream, wheat, flax & light lemon. Adding interest is a simmering of quartz, shell & fossil deposits.

| Installation Points | Stone Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the setts to the mortar bed. |
