Since joining our stone ranks in late 2023, Provence heavy tumbled limestone has been a stellar performer. Offering the same fabulous time-trodden and worn flagstone look epitomised by our best-selling Avignon & Castile stones, Provence offers something that little bit different in terms of its colour palette. Moving away from the sandy beige tones typical of west country stone, Provence takes inspiration from warmer climes, where outdoor living is a joy and flagstones are often pale with a hint of heat.

Complementing the indoor 20mm thick flagstone, is our dedicated 30mm thick Provence Heavy Tumbled Outdoor flag, characterised by the same astounding large fossils, mineral veining, quartz flecks and shell deposits as its indoor sibling. This charming, light flagstone is finished with a heavily tumbled or aged edge, fostering a gorgeous, antiqued stone look that is not over the top. With a colour palette including warm ivory, pale bone through to warm cream with touches of light apricot, Provence is a sunny stone. Though the plentiful fossils, shells and quartz add darker colour accents that temper the heat & produce a flagstone of allure and appeal. 

Available in large 60cm wide flags in random lengths with the longest length being 100cm. Also available in a 20mm indoor flag creating the opportunity to run this gorgeous limestone inside to out. See related products below.

To complement the outdoor flagstones, we have our 5cm outdoor stone steps. These limestone step treads are finished with a full bullnose edge and offer the ideal solution for split level landscaping designs. Each step is 100cm wide, 35cm deep and 5cm thick (1000mm x 350mm x 50mm). Priced per piece at £45each +VAT and delivery. PLEASE NOTE: STEP TREADS are sold PER STEP, so the price above (£45.00+VAT) is for one 100cm x 35cm tread and NOT per sqm. Just enter the total number of steps you require into the white box labelled SQM (next to the 'Prices include VAT' box) to add correctly to your shopping cart.

PRICES ARE PER SQM EXCLUDING DELIVERY. We operate a minimum order quantity of 10sqm on the flagstones & 3cm thick outdoor cobbles & setts, 8sqm on 4cm thick cobbles & setts, 7sqm on 4.2cm thick cobbles, 6sqm on 5cm thick cobbles and 5 pieces on the steps.

Note: Postal samples ARE NOT available for our 5cm thick step treads, the colour and surface finish is identical to the outdoor flagstone (within the vagaries of a natural product).
