Avignon aged & textured courtyard cobbles are cut from the same beautiful, Cotswold honey coloured limestone that is so popular with our clients; a truly individual character with abundant interest and smaller fossil & quartz details epitomises this lovely stone. Our 10cm wide by mixed lengths Avignon courtyard cobblestone exhibits natural features such as fossils, mineral/quartz veins and other characteristics that give this wonderful material an attraction and allure man-made products simply can't reach.

This is an attractive, gently aged & distressed cobble, with a simple rusticity that matches the soft aging of our Avignon Soft Tumbled outdoor flagstones. They can be used in part with other stone materials as a component of a larger garden design or used by themselves as a single attractive addition to existing landscapes. This tough, robust limestone is a great choice for any hard-working or hard-partying garden area.

Avignon 10cm wide mixed lengths cobbles are a great choice for outside areas that need an infusion of character & style. A popular choice for secret garden haven zones, terraces & patios, this typically English coloured stone, adds bags of time-trodden charm and is super resilient too.

Works With: Avignon Outdoor limestone flag & Mixed Seam Outdoor limestone flag in either their soft tumbled or heavy tumbled version to complete your landscaping project. Will also work with our Avignon Sandblasted limestones if used externally.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut samples are not available for this product, you do have the option of purchasing a full cobble sample, charged at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Avignon Outdoor Cobbles.

Courtyard Cobbles	Courtyard cobbles come in 10cm x 10cm, 15cm x 15cm and 10cm or 15cm wide by mixed lengths and are all 3cm thick.
Technical
Suitability	Outdoors paving, patios and pathways
Installation Points	Cobbles & Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the cobbles to the mortar bed.
