To work alone or alongside our much-admired outdoor Avignon flagstones, these gorgeous, gently aged cobbles in a 15cm x mixed length format, enable you to be bolder in your garden design. Whether your outdoor space is in dire need of a classic, historic touch or you simply want to add further character & interest to your meandering garden paths, then this fabulously aged mixed length cobblestone could be just the ticket.

Avignon natural limestone cobblestone brings natural tones and lighter shades to its gently aged surfaces and edges. For an authentically rustic surface, each cobble has undergone a careful ageing process to ensure a rugged yet beautiful finish. Boasting fossil highlights and a range of desirable hues, each cobble pays homage to the characteristics of traditional English stones like Bath Stone & Cotswold Stone.

This beautiful limestone, characterized by sporadic quartz & fossil content running through the stone, creates a cobbled floor full of warmth and charm. Avignon is a dense limestone, gently aged to give a subtle, worn-in look with rounded edges, Avignon cobblestone is eminently practical, easy to maintain and quite simply gorgeous.  Each cobble is finished with a very light texture to the face of the stones adding to the timeless look. 

Works With: Avignon Outdoor limestone flag & Mixed Seam Outdoor limestone flag in either their soft tumbled or heavy tumbled version to complete your landscaping project. Will also work with our Avignon Sandblasted limestones if used externally.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut samples are not available for this product, you do have the option of purchasing a full cobble sample, charged at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Avignon Outdoor Cobbles.

Courtyard Cobbles	Courtyard cobbles come in 10cm x 10cm, 15cm x 15cm and 10cm or 15cm wide by mixed lengths and are all 3cm thick.
Technical
Suitability	Outdoors paving, patios and pathways
Installation Points	Cobbles & Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the cobbles to the mortar bed.
