Working with our quarry associates for over a year, we are delighted to bring you this fabulous new finish to our hugely successful Provence outdoor stone collection. Each block of this 30cm x 8cm herringbone slim-sett is hand-split & hand-worked creating a sultry rippled and undulating surface to the stone which is perfect for schemes that require that time-trodden, aged & worn look. Imagine yourself walking through a quaint Dorset cottage garden on a glorious sunny day with borders heaving with bees & butterflies, along a sinuous pathway of ancient stone cobbles and you’ll understand the motivation for this gorgeous stone sett. 

Provence is a beautiful pale lemon-cream coloured stone with abundant fossil, shell & quartz detail. These dedicated 3cm (30mm) thick outdoor stone setts can create super stylish outside spaces from outdoor kitchen floors to intimate, sunken seating areas. Of course they can also add traditional appeal to terraces, patios & winding pathways in your garden scheme.

This impressive herringbone block can be the sole attraction or used in conjunction with our other Provence outdoor stones as part of larger garden grand designs.

PLEASE NOTE: Cut samples are not available for this product, you do have the option of purchasing a full slim-sett sample, charged at £5inc P&P. This £5 will be credited against any future order of Provence Outdoor Slim-Setts Split-face Herringbone.

Splitface Herringbone Setts	SPLITFACE finish herringbone setts are 30cm long by 8cm wide by 3cm thick (300mm x 80mm x 30mm) - Can be installed in herringbone & double herringbone pattern.
Technical
Suitability	Outdoors paving, patios and pathways
Installation Points	Stone Setts can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix can be used with the addition of SBR. NB: white Portland cement must be used in place of standard grey cement. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade white tile adhesive can be used. We recommend using a slurry primer (aka Bond bridges or bond coats) to improve adhesion of the setts to the mortar bed.
