Grey is a colour that works fabulously well with the verdant green of gardens, making flora pop and providing a wonderful backdrop to many a landscaping scheme. Our Raj Grey Flagstone is a terrific choice for outside use, bringing those same qualities, along with a hardy demeanour and a smart price point to the mix. With a colour palette of pale grey tones, we know Raj Grey works with a multitude of building styles. Contrasting with classic red brick, forming a beautiful, monochromatic scheme with white thatched cottages or adding further urban style to modern, concrete builds, we’ve seen Raj Grey used with them all to superb effect.

This stylish external limestone flag comes in mixed lengths, producing a traditional running length flagstone pattern – a perfect blend of sizes for outside use. The varied colours in Raj Grey range from light grey, through pale blue grey to gun-metal grey. During and after rain, the flags take on a warm creamy greige colour giving this lovely outdoor flag a distinct, separate personality. Raj Grey outdoor flagstone will enhance your home and produce a gorgeous outside space to be enjoyed for years to come.

In Raj Grey flagstone you find hand-cut & aged edges, as well as a textured, rivened surface – perfect for confidence underfoot in all conditions. This is hard, dense and tough Indian limestone, known for its highly durable nature & value for money.

Available in large 60cm wide flags in random lengths with the longest length being 90cm. This 2.2cm thick flagstone can also be used indoors creating the opportunity to run this fabulous flagstone inside to out. 

Also available are our Raj Grey outdoor finish step treads. 100cm long x 35cm deep x 4cm thick with the front edge finished with a bullnose profile. Priced per piece at £45each +VAT and delivery. PLEASE NOTE: STEP TREADS are sold PER STEP so the price above (£45.00+VAT) is for one 100cm x 35cm tread and NOT per sqm. Just enter the total number of steps you require into the white box labelled SQM (next to the 'Prices include VAT' box) to add correctly to your shopping cart.

Please note that postal samples ARE NOT available for our 4cm thick step treads, the colour and finish is identical to the flagstone (within the vagaries of a natural product).

Random Lengths	This stone is sold in the random length format which means the width is consistent but the lengths are different creating a dynamic brick-bond effect.
Weight	Flagstone: 55kg - 58kg per sqm | Stone Step: 46kg per step
Step Tread	Unlike flagstones, Step Treads are sold per piece. Raj Grey step tread is 100cm long with one length finished in a bullnose (rounded) edge, the step is 35cm deep (front to back) and 4cm thick. Our step treads can be used internally and externally and are often used as coping stones too.

External Installation Points	This 22mm thick flag can be laid directly onto an MOT type 1 external base or similar or onto a concrete/screed base. If installing onto MOT then a wet sand & cement mortar mix must be used with the addition of SBR. If installing onto concrete/screed a good quality external grade grey tile adhesive can be used.
